Ayat al-Quran

Translation : Goodness is the portion of only those who have obeyed their Lord, and those who have not obeyed Him, even if they had all the things in the world, and as much more, they would be ready to give all of it to save themselves (on the Day of Judgment). For these people, there is a terrible reckoning, and their abode is Hell, and it is a very evil resting place. (Asan Tarjumat-ul-Quran)

The Divine Wisdom Behind Trials: A Beautiful Lesson by Maulana Rumi

The Divine Wisdom Behind Trials: A Beautiful Lesson by Maulana Rumi

One day, Maulana Rumi (Rahmatullah Alaih) went inside his house and saw his son sitting sadly. He inquired, "Son, why are you sad?" The son replied, "It's nothing." Upon this, Maulana Rumi (RA) went outside, put on a wolf's skin, came back inside, and began to growl to frighten him. At this, his son laughed, so he said: "Son, a wolf is a wild animal, but when you saw that your father was behind it, instead of being afraid, you began to laugh and smile. Similarly, know that behind all trials and hardships is your Lord." "He who loves you more than 70 mothers—if He wishes to put you through a difficulty, you may not understand His wisdom, but He knows best." "He wants to teach you something, to make you strong for the times ahead, for even tougher trials. And know that He only tests those whom He loves." _____________________________________ Quoted.
