The Jewish Man's Disciples: A Satirical Tale

The Jewish Man's Disciples: A Satirical Tale

A Jewish man obtained permission to leave Russia and settle in Israel. As he was departing from the Russian airport, security officials searched his luggage and discovered a statue of Lenin. The inspector asked, "What is this?" The man replied, "Sir, you are asking the wrong question! You should have asked, 'Who is this?' This is Lenin, the man who served the Russian nation through communism. I am a huge fan of his, which is why I am taking this statue with me as a souvenir." Impressed by his patriotism, the Russian inspector said, "Fair enough, you may go." When the man landed at the Tel Aviv airport in Israel, his luggage was checked again, and the statue was found. The Israeli inspector asked, "What is this?" The man replied, "Your question is incorrect. You should ask, 'Who is this?' This is the criminal Lenin! He is the madman because of whom I was forced to flee Russia. I brought his statue along so that I can look at it every morning and night and curse him!" The Israeli inspector was moved and said, "Alright, you may proceed." Upon reaching his new home, the man carefully placed the statue in a corner. Soon, his relatives came over to welcome him, including his young nephew. Looking at the statue, the nephew asked, "Uncle, who is this?" The man smiled and said, "My boy, your question is wrong. You should ask, 'What is this?' This is 10 kilograms of pure gold! I needed to smuggle it out without paying custom duties, so I had it melted into this statue. I successfully brought it here without paying a single penny in taxes." Our politicians are the true disciples of this very man. Moral Cunningness & Deception: The man fooled everyone by tailoring his answers to suit his audience—a perfect reflection of how politicians operate. Social Satire: The story brilliantly satirizes how politicians shift their stances and narratives depending entirely on the situation to protect their own interests.
