عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ إِنْ كُنَّا آَلَ مُحَمَّدٍ نَمْكُثُ شَهْرًا مَا نَسْتَوْقِدُ بِنَارٍ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا الْمَاءُ وَالتَّمْرُ(ترمذی:۲۴۷۱)

Translation

Hazrat Aisha (R.A) says: We, the family of Muhammad (PBUH), were such that we would not light a stove for a whole month, our sustenance was only on dates and water.
