عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا أَكَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَأْكُلْ بِيَمِينِهِ وَلْيَشْرَبْ بِيَمِينِهِ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَأْكُلُ بِشِمَالِهِ وَيَشْرَبُ بِشِمَالِهِ (ترمذی:۱۸۰۰)

Translation

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When any one of you eats, he should eat with his right hand, and drink with his right hand, because Satan eats with his left hand and drinks with his left hand."
