عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ سُئِلَ عَنْ عِلْمٍ فَكَتَمَهُ أَلْجَمَهُ اللَّهُ بِلِجَامٍ مِنْ نَارٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ(ابو داؤد: ۳۶۵۸)

Translation

Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever is asked about knowledge and he hides it (and does not tell it), Allah Almighty will bridle him with a bridle of fire on the Day of Resurrection."
