عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا فَزِعًا يَقُولُ " لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ، وَيْلٌ لِلْعَرَبِ مِنْ شَرٍّ قَدِ اقْتَرَبَ، فُتِحَ الْيَوْمَ مِنْ رَدْمِ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ مِثْلُ هٰذَا ". وَحَلَّقَ بِأُصْبُعِهِ وَبِالَّتِي تَلِيهَا، فَقَالَتْ زَيْنَبُ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَنَهْلِكُ وَفِينَا الصَّالِحُونَ قَالَ " نَعَمْ، إِذَا كَثُرَ الْخَبَثُ "(بُخاری شریف:۳۵۹۸)
Translation
Hazrat Zainab (R.A) says: The Prophet (ﷺ) came to her in a state of panic, and said: "There is no god but Allah! Destruction is for the Arabs from the evil that has approached, today this much has been opened from the wall of Yajuj and Majuj," and he (ﷺ) made a circle with his finger and the finger next to it. Hazrat Zainab (R.A) asked: "Shall we be destroyed while there are righteous people among us?" He said: "Yes, when filth (wickedness) becomes abundant." (You saw this in a dream; the opening of the physical wall is not meant). (Tuhfat-ul-Qari)
