Translation
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Among the major sins is that a man curses his own parents." The Companions asked: "O Messenger of Allah! How can a man curse his own parents?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "He abuses the father of another man, so he (the other) abuses his father in return, and he abuses the mother of another man, so he (the other) abuses his mother in return. (In this way, the person becomes the cause and gets his parents abused, so it is as if he himself abused his own parents.)" (Kitab: Tuhfat-ul-Qari; Vol: 11; Pg: 50)
