عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّؓ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسلم: إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا حُلْوَةٌ خَضِرَةٌ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ مُسْتَخْلِفُكُمْ فِيهَا فَيَنْظُرُ كَيْفَ تَعْمَلُونَ فَاتَّقُوا الدُّنْيَا وَاتَّقُوا النِّسَاءَ فَإِنَّ أَوَّلَ فِتْنَةِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ كَانَتْ فِي النِّسَاء - رَوَاهُ مُسلم (مشکوٰۃ المصابیح/کتاب النکاح)
Translation
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Sa'eed al-Khudri (R.A) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: Undoubtedly, the world is sweet and green, and Allah Almighty has made you vicegerents in it, therefore He sees how you act. You people should be cautious of the world and also be cautious of women, because the very first trial among the Children of Israel came concerning women. (Muslim Sharif) (Ar-Rafeeq Al-Faseeh)
