Translation
Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did something, then (by his action) expressed its permission, but some people stayed away from it. This matter reached the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), so he delivered a sermon, praised Allah, then said: "What has happened to some people that they stay away from the thing that I do! So, by Allah! I know Allah the Exalted more than them, and I fear Allah the Exalted more than them." (Tuhfat-ul-Qari)
