Translation
Hazrat Bara' (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was carrying soil with us on the day of (the Battle of) Ahzab, and due to the soil, the whiteness of his (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) belly was visible, and he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was saying:
"By Allah! (O Allah!) If You had not guided us, we would not have given charity nor would we have offered Salah. (O Allah!) Send down tranquillity upon us, for the enemies have broken upon us (gathered against us)." The narrator says that sometimes he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would say:
"The disbelievers have refused to accept our word, and when they intend mischief and corruption, we refuse." And at that time, his (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) voice would become loud. (Tafheem-ul-Muslim)
