A fasting asthma (breathing) patient taking air into the mouth via a pump (inhaler).
In the state of fasting, a breathing patient taking air into the mouth via a pump will invalidate the fast, because the pump used nowadays contains medicinal ingredients, and it is certain that these ingredients reach the stomach. However, if no medicine of any kind is put into the pump, then merely taking air through the pump will not invalidate the fast. (Aham Masail/Vol:4/Page:94)
