Muhaqqaq Masala

The bier (Janazah) should be carried by four men, walking at a moderate pace, and each carrier should walk forty steps carrying it. And after putting the soil (burial), reciting the beginning and the end of Surah Al-Baqarah and performing Isal-e-Sawab (transferring the reward) is proven from the Hadith; therefore, it is better to return after performing Isal-e-Sawab, but if one is in a hurry, they can also return before that.
