Making pictures of living beings and the wages of picture-making?

Making pictures of living beings is haram (prohibited), and severe warnings have been reported in the Ahadith for those who make them, and trading in them is impermissible. The income from pictures (statues) made of copper and brass is makrooh, and also, the income from clay pictures is impermissible. (Kitab an-Nawazil/Vol: 16/Pg: 473)
