Delaying Zakat due in Rabi-ul-Awwal until Ramadan?

It is better to search for the deserving recipients and give Zakat at the exact time when the year is complete; there is no need to delay it until Ramadan. If there is a desire for more reward, calculate it until Ramadan, and if this is difficult, pay advance Zakat every year in the month of Ramadan. (Kitab al-Nawazil / Vol: 6 / Page: 549)
