Muhaqqaq Masala

After the obligatory (Fard) prayers that do not have Sunnah after them, if the Imam sits for Tasbeeh, he has the choice to sit in three ways: by turning his face to the right side, or by turning his face to the left side, or by turning exactly towards the follower (Muqtadi). All three methods are narrated from the Prophet (Peace be upon him); however, sitting with the face turned to the right side is better and preferable. (Kitab-un-Nawazil / Vol: 4 / Pg: 80)
