If the recitation and voice of a Qari or speaker has been preserved (recorded) in a device, then Sajdah al-Tilawah does not become obligatory upon hearing the verse of Sajdah from it, because it is a reproduction and a reflection; furthermore, the ruling for a tape recorder is the same.
However, on the radio, the requirement of precaution is that Sajdah al-Tilawah should be performed upon hearing the verse of Sajdah, provided that the original voice is being heard directly through it, and it is not a recorded voice. (Aham Masail / Vol: 1 / Pg: 75)
