Muhaqqaq Masala

Keeping a beard is an Islamic and communal hallmark, the Sunnah of all the Prophets, a sign of nobility and greatness, and the beauty of faces. It completes the masculine appearance and differentiates between the young and the old; therefore, keeping a fist-length beard is Wajib (obligatory), and shaving, trimming, or cutting it before it reaches a fist-length is a major sin.
