A philosopher was asked how he would choose his wife.

The philosopher replied:

She shouldn’t be so beautiful that others cast their eyes on her, nor so unattractive that my own heart grows weary of her.

She shouldn’t be so tall that I have to lift my neck, nor so short that I have to bow my head.

She shouldn’t be so heavy that she blocks the passage of air, nor so thin that she feels like a mere shadow.

She shouldn’t be so fair that she looks like wax, nor so dark that she seems like a silhouette.

She shouldn’t be ignorant that it’s difficult to explain things to her, nor so highly educated that she argues all the time.

She shouldn’t be so wealthy that she claims, "This is my property," nor so poor that my children fall into hardship.

She shouldn’t be short-tempered that it’s hard to placate her, nor constantly making demands.

She shouldn’t be a screamer that her voice bursts my eardrums, nor so silent that there is no sound at all.

It is said that this philosopher ultimately died a bachelor! 😭🤣😂🤣

Two Types of Women and Quranic Guidance

Two Types of Women and Quranic Guidance

As soon as you step out of the house, you encounter two types of women. The first type: consists of those women who are suffering from the disease of the wife of Aziz of Egypt. Well-adorned, wearing perfume, unveiled... they are saying through their state of being, ” هَيْتَ لَكَ ” (Come to me). The second type: is the woman who adheres to modesty and Hijab, but necessity brought her out of the house. She says through her state of being, ” حَتَّى يُصْدِرَ الرِّعَاءُ وَأَبُونَا شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ ” (Until the shepherds take away their flocks, and our father is a very old man). With the first type of women, you should deal in the same way as Hazrat Yusuf (peace be upon him) did, that is, say ” مَعَاذَ اللَّهِ ” (Allah forbid / Allah protect me). And with the second type of women, you should deal in the same way as Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him) did, that is, help them with respect and manners, and get busy with your work, and remember the command of Allah: ” فَسَقَىٰ لَهُمَا ثُمَّ تَوَلَّىٰ إِلَى الظِّلِّ ” (So he watered [their flocks] for them, then he turned back to the shade). Because Yusuf (peace be upon him) became the Aziz of Egypt on account of his chastity and purity. And Due to the excellent conduct of Musa (peace be upon him), Allah blessed him with a righteous wife and a peaceful residence.
