Malfooz: The light of knowledge is not found on the faces of the opponents of the people of truth

*The light of knowledge is not found on the faces of the opponents of the people of truth*

He stated that those people who abuse and revile the people of truth do not have the light of knowledge on their faces; in fact, even pure disbelievers are not found to be as distorted/disfigured as these people are. As a subtle point (latifa), I mentioned the reason for this is that disbelief (kufr) is an internal act (fa'il-e-batin), so its effect remains hidden, whereas abusing and reviling is an external act (fa'il-e-zahir), so its effect becomes prominent. English-educated people may not have the light of faith, but they do possess a certain demeanor (shaan), whereas these people do not even have that; may Allah protect us.
