عن أبي أُمامةَ رضيَ اللهُ عنه، قال: قال رسولُ الله صلَّى الله عليه وسلَّمَ:

«أكثِروا علَيَّ مِنَ الصَّلاةِ في كلِّ يومِ جُمُعةٍ؛ فإنَّ صلاةَ أُمَّتي تُعرَضُ علَيَّ في كلِّ يومِ جُمُعةٍ،

فمَنْ كان أكثَرَهم علَيَّ صلاةً؛ كان أقرَبَهم مِنِّي مَنزِلةً».

Narrated by Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

"Invoke blessings (Durood) upon me abundantly on every Friday, for the blessings of my Ummah are presented before me on every Friday. Thus, whoever among them invokes blessings upon me the most will be the closest to me in station/rank."
