The Holy Qur'an and Self-Rectification

Imam Shafi'i (may Allah have mercy on him), while advising his student Rabi bin Sulaiman (may Allah have mercy on him), said:

"Whenever you desire rectification (Islaah) for your own heart, your son, your brother, or anyone else; then leave them in the garden of the Qur'an. In the company of the Qur'an, Allah Almighty will soon rectify them—whether that person wishes it or not!"
