A Bitter Reality — A Lesson to Learn:
A mouse swallowed a diamond, and the owner of the diamond contacted a man to kill the mouse. He was a very famous hunter.
When the hunter arrived, the owner of the diamond told him, "A mouse has swallowed my diamond. Please find my diamond for me, and I will give you a reward."
When the hunter arrived to kill the mouse, he saw that more than a thousand mice were gathered there. However, one mouse was sitting completely apart and at a higher place than the rest. The hunter looked at the mouse sitting apart from everyone else and killed it. The owners were astonished to find that it was indeed the exact same mouse that had swallowed the diamond! The owner of the diamond asked, "How did you know it was this specific mouse?"
The hunter replied, "It is very simple. When petty or shallow-minded people become rich or attain a high position in society, they stop mingling with others."
