Episode No. 8
Hazrat Sheeth (Alaihissalam)
After the murder of Habil (Abel), Allah Almighty blessed Hazrat Adam (Alaihissalam) with a righteous son like Hazrat Sheeth (Alaihissalam). He became the true successor of Hazrat Adam (Alaihissalam), and moving forward, the lineage of the entire human race continued through him. Allah Almighty blessed him with prophethood and revealed fifty scriptures (Sahife) upon him. When Hazrat Adam (Alaihissalam) passed away, it was Hazrat Sheeth (Alaihissalam) who led the funeral prayer (Namaz-e-Janaza) by the command of Hazrat Jibreel (Alaihissalam). He married a woman named Hazoorah, and they had a boy and a girl. Hazrat Sheeth (Alaihissalam) spent his life in Makkah and performed Hajj and Umrah every year. He was taught the methods of various acts of worship for day and night, and was informed about the coming of a great flood that would last for seven years. Hazrat Sheeth (Alaihissalam) lived to the age of nine hundred and twelve years. When the time of his passing drew near, he advised his son Anoush to live his life according to the commandments of Allah. After his demise, he was buried alongside his parents in the cave of Mount Abi Qubais (Jabal Abi Qubais).
