🕋 Disadvantages of Accumulating Wealth 🕋

The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: There are five things involved in accumulating wealth:

1. There is hardship and toil in gathering it.

2. Managing and maintaining it creates a barrier to the remembrance (Zikr) of Allah.

3. There is a constant fear of thieves and robbers.

4. One has to bear the reputation and label of being a miser (bakhil).

5. Because of it, one has to endure separation from the righteous people (Salihin).

(May Allah Almighty grant everyone the ability to spend in the path of Allah) Ameen.
