Kabul (Al-Emarah): Officials from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce state that Afghanistan's trade with India reached approximately 650 million dollars in the first 10 months of 2024.
Akhundzada Abdul Salam Jawad, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, wrote on his X account today: "In the first 10 months of 2024, Afghanistan's trade with India reached 650 million dollars, which includes 447 million in exports and approximately 203 million in imports."
According to the details, Afghanistan's main exports to India include figs, saffron, raisins, green cumin, and almonds, while sugar and industrial raw materials are imported from India.
Earlier, officials from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce had reported transactions worth 548 million dollars between Afghanistan and China in the first 9 months of 2024, which included 12 million in exports and 536 million in imports.
