On *Urdu*, *Asadullah* always remained *"Ghalib"* (dominant).
*"Iqbal"* always remained high in fortune (Iqbal).
And the grace (*"Faiz"*) of *Faiz* continues to flow.
Someone is a stream, someone a river, and someone an ocean.
We have no dispute (*"Shorish"*) with literature, which is why we do not live in anyone's separation (*"Firaq"*).
In Urdu, there are not only chiefs (*"Mir"*), but also the richest (*"Amir"*) of people.
There is no stain (*"Daagh"*) of any kind on Urdu, though *"Daagh Dehlvi"* is certainly there.
Here, through constant practice (*"Riyaz"*), people became believers (*"Momin"*), and such was the state of their taste (*"Zauq"*) that Delhi, Lucknow, and Deccan became proper schools of thought. Rather, they became the *"Dabistan-e-Urdu"* (the school of Urdu).
Here, there are exemplary saints (*"Wali"*).
And there are unique individuals who are not only filled with joy (*"Sarshar"*) in the love of Urdu, but are also ready to sacrifice their lives (*"Jan Nisar"*) for it.
Therefore, do not hurt (*"Majrooh"*) anyone's status.
Let *"Shibli"* remain Shibli; do not turn it into Junaid and Shibli.
If *"Akbar"* is matchless in Allahabad, then in Akbarabad, our *"Nazir"* is also second to none.
No one can escape criticism. Without criticism, neither can anyone become a peak (*"Faraz"*), nor can they succeed (Sarfaraz)!
Urdu literature has always been grateful to writers and poets. Rather, it has been thankful (Shakir).
It has given not just a thankful heart, but also a fragrance (*"Khushbu"*) like *"Parveen Shakir"*.
It gave *"Musaddas-e-Hali"*, and it gave countless *Sayyids* who are not only Solomon (*"Sulaiman"*), but also possess the throne of Solomon, upon which not just one or two Sayyids, but *"Sir Sayyid"* himself sat.
Here, there is not only *"Rasheed"*, but also those who are longed for (*"Mushtaq"*) like *"Yousefi"*.
There are also masters of satire and humor like *"Bukhari"* (such as Patras).
Here, there are not just different colors, but also *"Narang"*.
Rather, there are also those like *"Shamsur Rahman Faruqi"*.
Here lies a river inhabited by stylistic writers like *"Abdul Majid"*.
Here, one after another is free (*"Azad"*), and there are top-tier personalities...
Rather, there are even *"Abul Ala"* and *"Abul Kalam"*, and that too with victory (*"Nusrat"*)...
🤲🏻 May God expand this atmosphere of Urdu even further, so that its grace (*"Faiz"*) continues consecutively, and it always remains high in fortune (*"Iqbal"*) and dominant (*"Ghalib"*).
