*One Should Also Go to the Service of Elders for the Reformation of Knowledge*

"The need to visit spiritual masters (Mashaikh) is generally understood to be for the reformation of deeds (Amal), but I say that one should also go for the reformation of knowledge (Ilm), because true knowledge is only with the people of Allah. Knowledge is not the name of hearsay (discussions/debates), but it is a light (Noor) that is bestowed by Allah into the heart of a believer. And I believe that practical misguidance is the result of intellectual/knowledge-based misguidance, and this is common in this era. Beliefs (Aqaid) are directly related to knowledge; if knowledge is not correct, then the belief cannot remain correct either."
