US Role and Statements US Energy Secretary Chris Wright said he was monitoring the Israel-Iran attacks and their impact on global energy supplies. He wrote on X that President Trump's energy policy has strengthened the energy security of the US and its allies. On Thursday, US diplomat Marco Rubio denied US involvement in Israeli attacks on Iran, but warned that Iran should not target US interests or personnel.
