A massive fire broke out in a 67-storey building in Dubai Marina, causing chaos. Residents were not notified in time due to faulty fire alarms. Dubai Civil Defence responded promptly and safely evacuated 3,820 residents from 764 flats.

According to residents, the fire spread quickly and filled the stairwells with smoke, forcing people to flee by elevator. Several people were taken to hospital due to smoke.
