After dinner, Vishnu's sister Rani stopped at the reception on her way and ate something from the box kept there, mistaking it for fennel and sugar. As soon as she ate it, she felt severe burning sensation and her face started swelling. Hearing Rani's screams, the family reached the reception and found that what Rani had eaten, mistaking it for fennel and sugar, was actually caustic soda, which had been placed there by the restaurant staff.
