New Delhi: The Indian Army will soon be equipped with the indigenously developed Quick Reaction Surface-to-Air Missile System (QRSAM). According to sources, the Ministry of Defense is considering buying three regiments of this system for deployment on the borders of China and Pakistan. The deal is worth about Rs 30,000 crore. QRSAM expected to get approval soon The Quick Reaction Surface-to-Air Missile (QRSAM) will be part of the Indian Army's air defense system. This missile system will be deployed mainly on the western and northern borders. It may get approval in a meeting of the Ministry of Defense in the fourth week of June, which will further strengthen India's defense. Features of QRSAM The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has developed this system, which is effective in all conditions, day or night, and has been successfully tested. This system can be easily moved from one place to another. Indian strength in Operation Sindoor After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, India launched Operation Sindoor on the night of May 6 and 7 to destroy 9 Pakistani positions. Pakistan attacked with drones and missiles, but the Indian army used L-70 and Zu-23 guns, They were thwarted by the Air Force's Spider and S-400 Sudarshan systems. Upcoming projects The Indian Army is soon to receive new radars, short-range missiles, jammers, and laser systems, which will help it deal with drone threats from countries like Turkey and China.
