Meerut: A violent clash and stone-pelting incident took place between two groups in Jogyan locality of Sardhana, in which several people were injured. The police immediately reached the spot and tried to control the situation, but the affected party kept protesting on the road and demanding action against the accused. Details of the incident On Tuesday, Dinesh, son of Om Prakash, a resident of Jogyan locality, was sitting at his grocery shop when the neighboring accused attacked him and started pelting stones. Police from several police stations reached the spot on receiving information, but the accused escaped. The victims sat on the road and demanded immediate action against the accused. Conflict over old enmity Ram Kishan, son of Paltu, of the affected party, told the police that on Saturday night his son Pawan had gone to a wedding function in Meerut with some people from Malha.
