🌾 Wheat Cultivation .......!!

It is said that in a certain country, there lived a very just and kind king. He had three sons. When the king began to grow old, he called his most capable minister and told him that he wished to entrust his kingdom to one of his three sons, but he was unable to make a decision. The minister said, "Your Majesty, there is a simple solution to this problem." Hearing this, the king was very pleased and became all ears. The minister advised that a sack of wheat be given to each of the three sons, and they should be told that the king is going on a long journey and will return after three years; until then, they must protect the wheat as a trust. Upon your return, you will know for yourself which prince is worthy of the throne. The king liked his minister's suggestion very much and did exactly as he was advised.

After the king's departure, all three sons fell into deep thought with their respective sacks of wheat, wondering what to do so they could safely return the wheat to their father. Consequently, the eldest son put the wheat inside a locker-like cupboard in the palace, locked it, and breathed a sigh of relief, thinking he would return every single grain exactly as it was given to him.

The second son threw the wheat into an empty field where wild bushes and grass were growing, so that it would remain safe and keep growing on its own.

The third son thought that since the wheat had to be returned after a full three years, it would be better to cultivate it. Finding a good piece of land, he first cleared the wild bushes and weeds, picked out the soil and pebbles one by one, properly softened the earth, and sowed the wheat with great love. Day and night, he would think about how happy his father would be to see the swaying, blooming, and dancing ears of wheat when he returned.

Three years passed, and the king returned from his journey. He asked his sons about the wheat.

The eldest son proudly unlocked the locker-like cupboard and was left ashamed. The entire wheat had rotted and turned into black dust. The king was deeply grieved and turned his attention to the second son, who led him to the field where he had thrown the wheat. When they arrived, they saw a few weak wheat plants here and there, which the wild weeds and bushes had not allowed to grow properly. He looked at his father in embarrassment, unable to return even a single grain of wheat.

The disappointed and saddened king reached the third son. He happily led his father to the field where golden ears of wheat were swaying row upon row as far as the eye could see, and the air was filled with a beautiful fragrance. Tears of joy welled up in the king's eyes; he embraced his son and praised him.

At the edge of the field, the king addressed his sons with great affection: "God also sends us humans into this world with some 'seeds', just like wheat. Then He waits for us to see in what condition we return those seeds to Him upon our comeback."

"We are like the soil; if we become hard and stony, the seeds given by God will rot and turn into black dust. For the nourishment of the seed, it is vital to be clean and free from wild weeds and clutter. And the person who keeps themselves soft for the growth of the seed, the seeds given by God become fruitful right there. Showers of blessings rain around them; after the rains, a person becomes green and fragrant from inside and out, like a forest, and becomes a sanctuary for all creation. Think how happy God will be when such a person returns to Him with three times more seeds..!"

The next day, in a full court, the king took the crown off his head and placed it upon the head of his youngest son.
